A Moment In Time........God gave beautiful puppies-

running and playing, with sticks as their trophies.

"Which one shall we choose?" We wondered in muse.

To bring into our home; into our heart.

A Moment In Time... I knew from the start.

Albert E. is his name, after the Einstein.

Clever quickness of mind, true to design.

He's gentle and sweet, his eyes tender love,

Full of brightness and life, full of joy from above.

Smart, E may be....... he's my Sugar Pup.

Happy Moments In Time.......days and seasons slip by;

Living and learning, amazing discerning.

Knows the toys all by name-to you he will bring them;

Frisbee in air, he does follow it there.

E can shake, sit and stay; but will not roll over.

Don't ask him to do it-leave that trick to Rover.

With zeal and with gusto, E put himself into his work.

A Moment In Time.......his personal quirk.

A moment in time......an evil jawed nightmare,

Snatched Sug up in it's grip and violently shook.

Again and again, that beast ravaged my pup.

Every chance Tyrant had, that's the chance Tyrant took.

Why in the darkness-it lay there in wait,

Is a question we earnestly sought to debate.

Empty, vain guesses from where it appeared;

One fact for certain, those visits were feared.

I prayed to Lord God, that He'd intervene;

Trustworthy and wise, on Him I do lean.

For almost 3 years, we were blessed with E's love.

Precious joy in our life, cherished gift from above.

Albert E.'s Moments In Time.....have come to an end.....

He will live in our heart.....Our dear faithful friend.

Albert E. loved the snow and a crisp atmosphere.

While the horse munched on hay and the cat lingered near-

E would round up that ball and propel it along,

He'd guide with his nose and herd that ball strong.

While the moon gave her light and the stars their applaud,

All who witnessed Sug's Moments, enraptured and awed.....
